Consuelo Nerea Breschi: musician

WHO IS:
Consuelo Nerea Breschi is a singer, fiddler and bodhrán player from Florence, Italy. Coming from a family of musicians, she grew up immersed in the music and came into contact with traditions from all over the world, accumulating a wealth of experiences that would heavily influence her artistic path. Starting on the bodhrán aged 16, she then moved on to the fiddle at the age of 21. In 2007 she decided to dedicate herself to the study of music, deepening her awareness of the Irish tradition. She has developed her fiddle studies with Caoimhin O’ Raghallaigh, Paul O’ Shaughnessy, Eoghan O’ Shaughnessy, Martin Hayes, Martin Dowling, Paul Bradley and Jesse Smith. She is co-founder of the folk band the Morning Tree, which released its first album in 2014.
