Since 2000, Fondazione Malagutti onlus has organized International Drawing and Visual Art Competition in order to promote Children’s Rights and to honour November 20th, the Universal Children’s Day.
The participation is addressed to children and teen from 3 to 18 years of age who can choose to realize a drawing, a sculpture, an installation or a video (http://www.dirittiacolori.it/files/file/2016/scheda_it_new.pdf). They can take part in individually or subscribing to the several initiatives organized in Italy by schools, libraries, bookshops, associations. The authors of the selected artwork will be awarded during the closing ceremony when all the realizations will be shown to the public.
Thanks to the volunteers and the humanitarian delegations, the initiative has been promoted and spread all over the world, with a particular attention to those Countries which don’t always respect human rights or which are involved in wars. Last edition, we received artworks from 52 different Countries.
