DESCRIPTION:
World’s fair originated in 1851, with the organization of the “Great Exhibition of the works of Industry in all Nations” in London. This event became the reference for all the next fairs, influencing the development of several aspects of society, including art-and-design education, international trade and relations, and tourism. “Feeding the planet, energy for life” is the slogan for Expo 2015, hosted in Milan between 1st May and 31st October, to analyze topics as alimentation, sustainability, right consumption. The fair’s organization has been involving Italian schools through “School Project”, an initiative to increase the participation of students and teachers who are invited to present projects about expo’s topics.
