Fred Kuwornu: director

WHO IS:
Fred Kuwornu was born in Bologna where he grew up.  He is a director, filmaker and an activist from Ghana. After his graduation, he moved in Rome where he worked as a scriptwriter for TV programs at RAI and La7. In 2007, he was choosen by the American director Spike Lee to work with the crew of “St Anna’s miracle”. Thanks to his meeting with Spike Lee, he was inspirated to direct the docufilm “Inside Buffalo”. In 2012 he produced “IUS SOLI. The right to be Italian”, about the sons/daughters of immigrants and the citizenship.

He will participate in “18 ius soli“, on Friday 26th.
