DESCRIPTION:
It’s an humanitarian association founded by the pharmacist Edmond Kaiser, in 1960 to promote children’s rights, the fight against the sexual and working exploitation, the assistance to the southern Countries and the literacy of poor nations. In Italy, it is working in Sicily to give psychological support to children welcomed by daycare centers. In Italian schools it develops programs to prevent violence against children and to fight discrimination. Thanks to the collaboration with hospitals and universities, it is dealing with education of pediatricians and doctors in order to recognize in advance violence against children prematurely.
